Great Light Operas and Operettas: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

(Kenduskeag Gathering Place, Inn at Dirigo Pines, 9 Alumni Dr., Orono) A 1954 set on a ranch in the Oregon Territory telling of Adam and his six brothers, all unruly. Adam marries Milly (Jane Powell), who is appalled by the men and decides to tame them. The brothers, however, kidnap 6 women in the town to marry, resulting in much chaos before all works out happily.
